Taylor Martin Ricks Obituary, Victoria, TX – At eleven o’clock in the morning on Friday, April 5, 2024, in Ebenezer Cemetery, funeral services will be performed for Taylor Martin Ricks, who was thirty years old and passed away on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 here in Crowley. I am pleased to announce that Mrs. Christy Brammer will preside over the services. In the Ebenezer Cemetery, the interment will take place.
Taylor was born in Victoria, Texas on January 18, 1994, although she has been living in Crowley since then. After completing his high school education at Notre Dame High School in 2012, he went on to study at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. The ability to do anything with his hands that he came into contact with was something that he possessed, following in the footsteps of his father, who was a jack of all crafts. Taylor’s favorite things to do were to spend time with his family, but he also enjoyed playing golf, fishing, and cooking.
He is survived by his mother, Dana Boudreaux Ricks, who resides in Crowley; two sisters, Natalie Ricks Mitchell (Michael) of Youngsville and Rachel Dee Ricks (Derek Dufresne) of New Orleans; his maternal grandfather, Martin Boudreaux, who resides in Crowley; five nieces and nephews, Chloe Mitchell, Cale Mitchell, Clara Mitchell, Rylan Ricks, and Kyuss Gary; and his aunt, Debbie Houghton, who resides in Crowley.
His father, J.D. Ricks, as well as his maternal grandmother, Vermel Thibodeaux, and his paternal grandpa, Johnny Ricks, all passed away before Taylor was born. Sending condolences to the family can be done at the website www.geesey-ferguson.com.
