A Naugatuck police officer is recovering after being injured in a crash Friday evening.
Around 7 p.m. on Friday, officers responded to a crash involving a Naugatuck police officer, according to the Naugatuck Police Department.
The officer was transported to a local hospital for minor injuries. No other vehicles were involved, according to police.
Police did not say if the officer was responding to an emergency, but that snowy conditions made roads slippery.
