Ann Ruperto Obituary – We are saddened to inform you of the demise of Shirley Ann Ruperto, who was an initial member of Robinson Emergency Medical Service. Our hearts go out to her family and friends. Over the course of forty-five years, Shirley became a concerned citizen and joined a group of other concerned individuals who took the initiative to establish Robinson Emergency Medical Services. It goes without saying that we are really grateful for this development. Having a heart of gold, Shirley will be greatly missed by a great number of people.
On Saturday, March 23, 2024, Shirley Ann Ruperto, who resided in Robinson Township and was 89 years old, died away in a calm and serene manner at her home, with her family at her side. The daughter of George and Pauline Sandman, who both passed away, she was born in Clinton, Pennsylvania on July 2, 1934. In addition to being the devoted wife of the late Frank Ruperto, she was also the devoted mother of Jeffrey (Christine), Douglas (Kim), Roger (Christine), and David (Angelica), as well as the sister of Elizabeth Ellis and August Sandman.
Her brothers and sisters, Bob Sandman, Mary Rozinsky, Alice Andresky, and George Sandman, all passed away before she did. Besides her grandkids Nichole, Alan “A.J.”, Austin, Douglas Jr., Jill, Scott, Roger “R.J.”, Nicholas, and Anthony, Shirley is also survived by her nine great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her nine great-great-grandchildren. The PITTSBURGH CREMATION & FUNERAL CARE in Robinson Township was entrusted with the responsibility of making private arrangements.
