Brian Vogel Obituary, Death – On Monday, April 1, 2024, at his residence, Brian G. Vogel, who was 58 years old and a resident of Alexandria, Minnesota, passed away. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Anthony Catholic Church in St. Anthony on Friday, April 5 at 11 a.m., and Reverend Edward Vebelun, O.S.B. will preside over the ceremony. There will be a burial in the cemetery that is owned by the church (the cemetery).

Claude and Janice (Becker) Vogel welcomed their son Brian Gerald Vogel into the world on August 22, 1965. Brian Gerald Vogel was born in Melrose, Minnesota. In the years after his graduation from Albany High School, he pursued his study on the family farm located in close proximity to St. Anthony. He married Carrie Bechtold in 1994, and the couple eventually made their home in Alexandria, Minnesota.
In order to pursue employment with Aagard, Brian quit Fleet Farm, where he had worked for over three decades. Going fishing, traveling to Duluth, and traveling around the West were some of his favorite things to do. In addition to being a skilled craftsman and woodworker, he valued the time he spent with his family, especially with his three children.
Claude Vogel, who resides in St. Anthony, is his father. His sons, Spencer (Sarah) Vogel of St. Joseph and Matthew Vogel of Grand Forks, North Dakota, are his sons. His siblings include Debra (Richard) Schreifels of Staples, Michael (Jane) Vogel of LaCrosse, Wisconsin, Richard (Laura) Vogel of Albany, Lori (Dan) Austing of Freeport, Lisa (John) Buttweiler of Avon, Steve (Natasha) Vogel of Albany, and Tom (Jaclyn) Vogel of Albany.
Other members of his family include Richard (Laura) Vogel of Albany, Richard (Laura) Vogel of Albany, Richard (Laura) Vogel of Albany, Richard (Laura) Vogel of Albany, Lori (Dan) Austing of Freeport, Lisa (John) Buttweiler of Avon, Steve (Natasha) Vogel of Albany, and Tom (Jaclyn) Vogel of Albany. Even Claude Vogel, who lives in St. Anthony, managed to survive.
Additionally, Claude is survived by his ex-wife, Carrie Vogel, who resides in Alexandria, as well as a sizable number of nieces, nephews, relatives, and acquaintances. The passing of the mother, Janice Vogel, occurred on May 7, 2020; the passing of the brother, David Vogel, occurred in 2009; and the passing of the nephew, Mason Vogel, occurred in the year before to the birth of Brian.
