Terry Collins Obituary, Death – Terry Collins, who had served as a firefighter for Hadley Twp. in the past, passed away not too long ago, and it is with a heavy heart that we share this tragic news with you about his passing. We are sorry for your loss. Following his time spent with the Attica Twp. Fire Department in the late 1980s, Terry made the decision to join the Hadley Fire Department rather than continuing his career in the fire service.
This choice was made by him in order to maintain his current line of work career. During his service, his cousin Kurt Nass, who is currently serving as Chief, and his uncle Dick Nass, who had previously held the office of Chief, were both present. Dick Nass had previously served as Chief. In the past, each of them had held the post of Chief in the organization.
Terry was able to fulfill his lifelong ambition of becoming a firefighter after he joined the Bay City Fire Department after he had joined. In 2017, the year he reached the age of retirement, he eventually stopped working as a Battalion Chief and retired from the military. The realization of Terry’s one and only dream throughout his entire life was what he had been waiting for. He was a proud member of the Merritt Twp. Fire Department, which was linked with the township in which he resided. In addition to his duty in the military, he was another proud member of the department.
With the news of Terry’s passing, there appeared to be a sense of surprise among those there. During this difficult time, we are keeping his family and the members of the firefighting community that he works with in our thoughts and prayers. We are also keeping ourselves in prayer. Also, we are keeping him in our prayers at this time.
