Joe Lewallen Obituary – Sadly, Joe Lewallen, a board member of the Children’s Health Foundation who was held in high esteem and held in high worth, died away not too long ago. It is with deep regret that we must inform you of his passing while also expressing our sadness at having to do so. A tragic occurrence is that we are obligated to inform you of his passing. This new knowledge is something that we have to share with you, and we do so with a great deal of remorse. Please accept our sincere apologies for any trouble this may create. Since Joe was selected to serve on the board of directors in 2010, he has already made a significant contribution by participating in the process of strategic planning and working on a number of committees.
In addition, Joe has been a member of the board of directors since 2010. In 2010, Joe was chosen to serve on the board of directors after being elected to that position. It is hard to overestimate the level of dedication that he felt toward our purpose because of the level of commitment that he felt about having a reason in the first place. The years 2016, 2017, and 2019 were the ones in which he held the position of president, and it was during those years that he shown great leadership abilities. It was for a period of three years that he served as president. Joe and his wife Jamie put in a large amount of effort in the aftermath of their son’s courageous battle against disease in the year 1998.
Their overarching goal was to make certain that their son’s legacy will live on until the end of time. The Tripp Lewallen Memorial Tournament was established in 1999 by friends and family members of Tripp Lewallen as a way to honor their unwavering commitment to the cause. This tournament was named after Tripp at the time of his passing. Despite the passage of time, the competition is still held on a yearly basis. One of the objectives of the fundraising activities that are now being carried out is to make a donation to the CMRI Tripp Lewallen Endow Research Chair in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology, which was established in the year 2001.
These endeavors are currently being carried out throughout the board. It is because of the leadership and dedication that Joe shown during his career that McAfee & Taft, our company, and the numerous individuals whose lives he touched will be remembered for the rest of time. Joe’s influence on the lives of a great number of individuals is the reason for this. The absence of his presence will ultimately lead to the formation of a substantial hole in the circumstance being discussed.
