Accident Midland NC – Two people, one of whom was a little child, were killed in an accident that took place on Sunday, as reported by the Marion Police Department. The incident resulted in the deaths of two individuals. At approximately 5:17 o’clock in the evening, there was a collision that took place on Highway 70 adjacent to Old Highway 10. The driver of a 2005 Ford was traveling east on Highway 70 when he crossed the center line and collided with a 2018 Chevrolet SUV that was headed west on the same road. The police said that the collision occurred when the driver crossed the center line.
Two people were murdered, and a number of other wounded were sent to Mission Hospital in Asheville. At least two persons were confirmed dead. John Russell, who was 53 years old at the time of the event, was lost to death as a result of the accident. A child who was ten years old was also killed in the incident; however, the name of the child has not been made public at this time. The incident that occurred occurred in the United States. The child, who is just four years old, and the adult victim, who is thirty-one years old, are both in critical condition. The child is being treated at the hospital.
The police have stated that Russell was the driver of the Ford that crossed the center line, and they are currently conducting an investigation to determine the rationale for the driver’s decision to cross the line.
