Stevie Cromie Death – We are publishing this post with a heavy heart, but we believe it is necessary to inform people that Stevie Cromie, who had been ill for some time, passed away yesterday afternoon. Stevie Cromie had been ill for some time. The treatment of Stevie Cromie’s condition had been going on for some time at that point. The presence of Stevie Cromie has been absent from our midst for a considerable amount of time. Many of you are aware of the fact that Stevie married Yvonne and became the stepfather of young Andrew Johnston, who was ultimately killed in February of 1992. This is a reality that many of you are aware of.
Andrew Johnston was raised by Stevie, who was his stepfather. One might say that a significant number of you are highly familiar with this particular topic. The period that we spent at Ballysillan Elim is the point at which we are able to trace our roots all the way back to their beginnings. This is the place at where we spent our time. It was during this time period that Stevie made his public statement of faith in Christ and began his commitment to the field of youth ministry. In addition to that, he started getting involved in the field. After a period of time had passed, he and Yvonne made the decision to enroll in the Elim Bible College, which is located in England.
Afterwards, we made him an offer to join our New Life Leadership Team so that we could work together with him to enhance his leadership skills. This was done in order to facilitate the development of his leadership qualities. It was done with the intention of assisting him in becoming a more effective leader. As a consequence of that, he became significantly involved in a wide range of different enterprises.
During this trying time, we want Yvonne and the members of her family who are providing her with support and encouragement to know that they are in our thoughts and prayers. At this time, prayers and thoughts are being sent up for and on behalf of them.
