Arthur Alcada Obituary, Death – On Monday, April 1, 2024, Arthur Mendes Alcada, who was 71 years old, passed away in a calm and serene manner at his residence in Freehold, New Jersey. He was surrounded by his devoted family. He arrived in the United States in January 1973 and initially lived in Newark until relocating to Freehold two years ago. He was born in Pardelhas, which is located in the municipality of Murtosa in Portugal.
Before Arthur retired two years ago, he had been the proprietor of Grill Master BBQ in Bloomfield, New Jersey, for a period of twenty years. In the past, he was the proprietor of Arthur’s Lunch Truck for a period of eighteen years. Beloved husband of Domingas De Oliveira Barbosa Alcada for the past 51 years; devoted and loving father of Annabel Barbosa Alcada Figueiredo and her husband Paulo Jorge and their son Alexander; Diane Barbosa Alcada and Natalia Soares Carvalho and her husband Augusto and their children Jason and Justin; cherished brother of Fernando Silva Alcada; uncle of Ryan and Rachel Nicole both of whom survived him.
The passing of Arthur, which occurred on the last day of his 71st year of life, was the culmination of each and every aspect of his personality. Because he was simply not the type of person to leave things unfinished, he never missed an opportunity to complete what he had begun. Despite the fact that he had been battling cancer for seventeen years, he never gave up on life, his loved ones, or his career during that time.
An unwavering source of motivation for everyone who had the good fortune to be present throughout his existence on this planet. His loved ones had the privilege of loving and caring for him right up until the moment he took his last breath, granting him the opportunity to fulfill his last request of leaving this world surrounded by those who loved him the most. Without a doubt, he will continue to watch over and direct his family from heaven. Many of us have always understood that his love is boundless, and now that he is no longer bound by his bodily form, his love will be truly infinite.
At the Buyus Funeral Home, which is located at 426 Lafayette Street, at Wilson Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07105, the wake will take place on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, from 4 to 8 o’clock in the clock. Portugal’s Murtosa Cemetery is where the deceased are laid to rest.
