Two crashes on Interstate 84 in Hartford on Monday morning shut down portions of both sides of the highway, including one involving a tractor-trailer that rolled over.
The tractor-trailer overturned on I-84 East between Exits 50 and 51 shortly after 5 a.m., according to the state Department of Transportation.
Connecticut State Police said no injuries were reported. Crews from the state Department of Energy and Environmental Protection responded to the scene to deal with a fuel leak, state police said.
According to the DOT, the crash closed the left and center lanes of I-84 East. A heavy wrecker was expected to respond to remove the tractor-trailer, state police said.
Another collision involving two motorists was reported on I-84 West between Exits 47 and 46 around 6:45 a.m., the DOT said. According to state police, no injuries were reported.
The second crash left two lanes of I-84 West closed while a wrecker responded to the scene.
