Mr. Brian Rush Death, Obituary Unavailable – A wonderful employee, friend, supporter, and coworker, Mr. Brian Rush, has passed away, and Thorn Athletic wishes to express its deepest condolences to his family and friends. While we are going through this difficult time, we would like to extend our deepest condolences to his wife, Madge, as well as to his entire family and his close circle of friends. Brian committed more than 10 years of his life to the development of Thorn Athletics — a sports organization.
Over the course of his career, he has been of assistance to hundreds of young people as they began their football careers.
Many people were left with a lasting impression as a result of his kind and affable manner, which was beneficial to everyone he came into contact with. The contributions that he made to the communities of Thorn and Johnstone, as well as his role in securing the extension and sustainability of the project, will be remembered.
Brian was a committed supporter of St. Mirren and was always present at the club, particularly with our younger coaches and other volunteers. He was a person who was always present. Unlike anyone else, he is unique. Thorn Athletic’s chairman, Mark McGee, was quoted as saying, “Brian was the best signing we ever made, and his loss is a big blow to all of us all.”His dependability, dedication, and commitment will not only ensure that they are never outdone, but they will also ensure that they are never forgotten.
On a personal level, he formed a close friendship with the crew and became an indispensable member of the group. On a consistent basis, he never failed to amaze me and give me the sensation that he would never become obsolete. The act of putting up newspaper cuttings from match reports, making a large amount of tea, and engaging in chats about football, horses, and other topics that kept us interested while we worked “We are thinking of everyone who is involved.” In recognition of Brian, it is anticipated that there will be a round of applause during the twenty-first minute of the home match that St. Mirren is playing versus Hearts on Saturday of this week.
