Thomas Klausing Obituary, Death – Fifty-two years old Thomas L. Klausing, Jr., a resident of Chester, Illinois, who died away at Memorial Hospital in Chester, Illinois, at 8:25 a.m. on Sunday, March 31, 2024. He is the son of Thomas Klausing, Sr. and Bonnie (née Fricke) Klausing, who are still alive and reside in Rockwood, Illinois. He was born on December 17, 1971 in Chester, Illinois. The wedding took place on December 28, 2006, and Aimee Keith is still alive and residing in Chester. He had been a truck driver in the past and also operated his own vape business, which was called CT Vapor. Thomas attended the Pleasant Ridge Church in Rockwood, Illinois, from which he was a member.
There are additional six children that he leaves behind: Mercedes (Brice) Wallace of Chester, Illinois, Tommy (Jenny) Klausing of Coulterville, Illinois, Dalton McCormick of Chester, Illinois, Elizabeth Klausing of Sparta, Illinois, Anthony (Jocelynn) Klausing of Chester, Illinois, and Alyssa Keith of Chester, Illinois; four siblings: Chris Klausing of Cutler, Illinois, Lynn (Chad) Hecht of Chester, Illinois, Robin (David) Randall of Rockwood, Illinois, Robin (David) Randall of Rockwood, Illinois, and Amanda (Richard) Seymore of Marissa, Illinois; twelve grandchildren: Karlea, Braxton, Bre, Trint, Riley, Hoyt, Axten, Oaklynn, Alana, Linley, Brynlee, and Avalynn; two dogs: Hex and Haze; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Makayla Hecht, his niece, and his grandparents, Lawrence and Alberta Klausing and Charles and Mary Lou Fricke, all passed away before him. He was also taken from this world by his grandparents.
He was a fan of all types of hunting, but his favorite was bow hunting and mushroom hunting. Thomas was a man who enjoyed spending time with his family, particularly his grandkids, and he could be found in the kitchen. On Thursday, April 4, 2024, there will be a funeral service, and visitation will take place from 4-9 p.m. At the Pechacek Funeral Home in Chester, Illinois, on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, and on Thursday, April 4, 2024, from nine to eleven in the morning. Reverend Thomas Klausing, Sr. will preside over the ceremony. Rockwood, Illinois’s Pleasant Ridge Cemetery will serve as the location for the interment. Family Choice or the Pleasant Ridge Church are both worthy recipients of memorial contributions.
