The owner-occupant, RSS Millwork LLC, sold the facility at 11 Industrial Road in Prospect and Sam Crampton and Frank Hird, SIOR, helped the seller acquire a new larger facility in Cheshire, according to O,R&L Commercial.
The industrial building at 11 Industrial Road served as RSS Millwork’s longtime headquarters and manufacturing location, according to O,R&L Commercial.
Prospect-based RSS Millworks, a custom millwork manufacturer, is moving into a larger facility in neighboring Cheshire to accommodate growth and increased production demands, O,R&L Commercial has said.
The company purchased a 30,600 square-foot industrial warehouse/building for $1.8 million at 150 Sandbank Road, according to O,R&L Commercial.
The recently sold building, “situated in the heart of Prospect’s industrial corridor, [is a property that] offered a functional layout suitable for a wide range of light industrial, fabrication, and warehousing uses, making it a strong opportunity for the new owner,” according to O,R&L Commercial.
The company noted Crampton and Hird, SIOR, of O,R&L Commercial, represented the seller, Retail Security Solution LLC and also procured the buyer Bill Sweet, a serial entrepreneur, who plans to run multiple businesses out of the location. O,R&L Commercial did not say what type of businesses Sweet intends to place there.
