Linda Hayes Obituary, Death – Linda Marie Hayes, a beloved member of the Attica community, passed away on March 30, 2024, at the age of 70, in Beaumont Hospital, Grosse Pointe. Born on January 22, 1954, in Detroit, Linda was the daughter of Clifton and Doris Hayes, both of whom preceded her in death. Throughout her life, Linda worked tirelessly as a housekeeper, serving both residential families and nursing homes. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, often indulging in trips to the beach and leisurely rides along the waterfront. However, her greatest happiness stemmed from the time spent with her cherished grandchildren.
Linda leaves behind a legacy of love and warmth. She is survived by her daughter, Renee (Mike) Ostrander of Greenwood Township, and her son, Mike (Kelly) Rathnow of Attica. Her memory lives on through her four grandchildren: Andrew, Aurora, Gracie, and Trenton. Linda also leaves behind her sister, Cathy Kilbride, and her brothers, Gary, Danny, and David (Mary) Hayes. Additionally, she is remembered fondly by her nieces, nephews, including Lisa, Michelle, Nina, Jeffrey, Amanda, and Anderson, as well as numerous friends.
Sadly, Linda is preceded in death by her sister, Sharon Swartzfager. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Kaatz Funeral Directors, Yale. At this time, no formal services have been planned to honor Linda’s life. However, her memory will forever be cherished by those who knew and loved her. In the quiet moments, amidst the gentle waves of memory, Linda’s spirit will continue to bring comfort and solace to those she leaves behind. Her legacy of love and devotion will endure, a testament to a life well-lived and deeply cherished.
