David Adams Obituary, Death – Alan D. Adams, March 27, 2024 – January 13, 1950 , Kansas City, Andover – On Wednesday, March 27, 2024, David Lee Adams of Andover, Kansas, who was 74 years old, went away. Lorene Mable Moore Sailing and Lockwood Kaiser Adams welcomed David into the world on January 13, 1950, in Kansas City, Kansas. Following his lifelong dream of being of service to others, Dave founded David L. Adams & Associates and enjoyed a successful accounting career spanning more than half a century.
Working tirelessly to assist his clients, he loved his profession. Dave was a trusted advisor, confidant, friend, and mentor in addition to his accounting duties. Dave went by more than just a few names; he was a guy of many talents. He had many titles, including “The Master of Disaster,” “Main Man,” “Dr. Doom,” “Chief Man,” the “Macaroni Connoisseur,” and, most significantly, “Kaw Kaw” among his grandchildren. The Kansas City Chiefs were another team that Dave adored.
Throughout his life, Dave has been an ardent supporter of the Chiefs. As a kid, he and his parents would spend a lot of time at Chiefs games. George, his son-in-law, Kaden, and Tanner, his grandson, perpetuated the family heritage. Attending the games is an experience that will live on in their memories and stories. The people who meant the most to Dave—his wife, children, and grandchildren—were his first priority, and he loved them without condition.
After Dave passed away, his wife Janet Adams and their children Lindsay Pierce (Chris), Kaden Adams, and Stephanie Bowen (Bill) and their grandchildren Alexus, Alaina, Jack, Julia, Clara, and Livian as well as Bethany, Tanner, and Tristin Thrash, and great-grandchildren Gannon, Emalee, and Jelly Bean are among those left to mourn his passing. Lockwood Kaiser Adams, Lorene Mable Moore Sailing, Beverly Adams, and Barbara Thomas were the people who came before Dave in his family.
