Peg Pederson Death: A heart attack took the life of Peg Pederson, a beloved friend and supporter of Horbury Town FC. She died away over the weekend. It is with deep regret when the club learns of her passing. Peg fought to the best of her abilities during the course of the previous week, but she was eventually unsuccessful.
Following the awful news, the whole club community is in grief with her family and is ready to provide a helping hand to anybody who may need assistance as a result of this tragedy. During her most recent trip to the United Kingdom, Peg made it a point to watch Horbury Town every year, despite the fact that she was located the other side of the planet.
During the month of September, she traveled to Armthorpe to see our demolition process, and she had a wonderful time celebrating! Whenever the sun went down on a Saturday night, Peg would send voice notes and text messages to the gaffa in order to inquire about our well-being and ensure that the club was being closely monitored. Nobody could possibly have anything bad to say about Peg since she was really one of a kind.
In her last message, she requested that she check the results of the game against Athersley. It is quite probable that she was overjoyed to see that the squad had gotten back to winning ways and celebrated a six-point weekend, just like the team itself was. To Peg, please accept my most sincere condolences. There is a chance that the remaining portion of the season will be an appropriate homage to you. We need you to give us the will to fight on the field, and you should gaze down on us.
