The 13th of August, 1995 found Jared being brought into the world in Ellwood City by his parents, Sean Meyers and Rebecca (Funk) Keefer. At Lincoln High School, where he was a well-respected athlete, Jared graduated with the class of 2014 and left the school.
The captain of the football team, a participant in the Penn-Ohio football game, and a state track and field athlete, he was one of the leading rushers in Ellwood City and went to the state level. In addition to his father, Sean, Jared was also a co-owner and operator of the Meyers Auto Group. The phrase “everything to everyone, all the time” was used to characterize him. He was self-motivated to be the best version of himself that he could be for his family and community he lived in.
Whether it was delivering a joke, his uncanny ability to share stories, or even simply to give you one of his famous tight hugs, Jared’s presence was always noticed. Jared was a highly active part of the Peloton community, and he even achieved a position in the top one percent of achievers, something he was quite pleased of.
As a last point of interest, Jared will be remembered for being the most wonderful father, son, husband, brother, and friend. He will be sorely missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
