Barbara Becker Obituary, Death – Barbara Elaine Becker, who had lived in Kitty Hawk, North Carolina, had reached the age of 75 when she passed away on March 29, 2024. She had lived there for almost 75 years. The 14th of January, 1949 found her being born in the town of Sewickley, Pennsylvania. She was born in Luxembourg and lived there for the first thirty years of her life. In 2009, she made the decision to relocate to the Outer Banks and make it her permanent home.
She was an active member of the American Women’s Club in Luxembourg, and throughout her life, she found happiness and significance in activities such as tending to her home and garden, traveling to various parts of the world, and participating in humanitarian work in both Luxembourg and the Outer Banks. She was also a member of the American Women’s Club in Luxembourg.
Barbara had a great appetite for reading, and she eagerly anticipated taking part in a variety of different book clubs across the country. Kayaking, feeding the birds and deer in her yard, and spending time at the beach were all activities that she enjoyed doing since she had a profound appreciation for the natural world. She also enjoyed spending time spending time at the beach.
In addition, she was quite proud of her duties as a grandmother, aunt, and great-aunt, and she placed a high value on the time she was able to spend with her family while they were physically present at her home in Kitty Hawk. In addition to being a devoted mother to her daughter, Jessica Becker, and her daughter-in-law, Jackie Bialostozky, Barbara was also a devoted grandma to her grandson, Noah.
She was a doting grandmother. In the aftermath of her loss, the only members of her family who remain are Cindy Wimer, her sister, her nieces Amy Crouse and Nathalie Wagner, and her nephew Jay Wimer, together with their respective families. In addition to Barbara, her parents, Stella Monkiewicz and Harry Haushalter, as well as her husband, Joseph Becker, passed away before she did. This meant that Barbara was the only member of her family to have survived.
In order to pay tribute to Barbara and commemorate her life, a memorial service will be held on the Outer Banks at a later date. She will be remembered most for her unwavering love for her family and friends, her spirit of adventure, her generosity, and her kind manner. These are the traits that people will remember most about her. May God offer her peace that lasts forever.
