Donald Hargest Obituary, Death – At the age of 76, Donald Hargest passed away in a calm and tranquil manner at his home in Stewartstown on Thursday, March 21, 2024. In the course of their 41 years together, he was a devoted husband to Brenda (Bare) Hargest. Robert F. Hargest, Sr. and Agnes (Burkhardt), who have since passed away, were Donald’s parents. He was born on September 25, 1947 in Baltimore, Maryland. A product of Parkville High School, which is located in Harford County, Maryland, he went on to earn an associate’s degree in business management from Towson State College after graduating from Parkville High School in 1965.
Over the course of his career, Don managed a number of different enterprises before he finally retired. Watching and participating in sports was something he enjoyed doing in his leisure time. He even continued to play baseball well into his 50s. First and foremost, he delighted in the opportunity to spend time with his family, particularly his grandchildren. No one who came into contact with Don did not find him to be a friend; in fact, he was liked by everyone he encounters.
On the other hand, Don is survived by his wife, Brenda; two sons, Derek Hargest and Brett Hargest and his wife Amanda Franks; one brother, Robert F. Hargest and his wife Sue; one sister, Elizabeth A. Ross and her husband Bob; and three grandchildren, Drew, Rylee, and Caroline Hargest. All of his family members, including his parents, his son Donnie L. Hargest, Jr., who was 12 years old, and his brother Tex Hargest, passed away before him.
