Joseph Baker Obituary, Death – Terrible news of a three-car disaster that happened on Wednesday in Bullskin Township has the Connellsville community in a condition of deep shock and misery. Tragically, this incident resulted in the death of 25-year-old Joseph Baker Jr. The Fayette County Coroner, Dr. Bob Baker, pronounced Joseph Baker Jr. dead at the scene at about 4:30 p.m. Tragically, Joseph was on a Honda motorcycle when it happened. Reports of a motorbike accident with injuries reached Fayette County’s coroner, Dr. Bob Baker, just after 3:30 in the afternoon.
Between Kingview and McClure roads, on Route 119 North, was where the accident happened, according to the Uniontown state police. Help came quickly from the Bullskin Township Volunteer Fire Department and the state police. Joseph Baker Jr. tragically lost his life in the accident, despite their careful efforts. The other two drivers involved in the accident have been named as Tyler S. Rose, a 29-year-old from Everson, and Erin C. Carlisle, a 57-year-old from Murrysville.
Rose and Carlisle were lucky to get out of that sticky scenario unscathed. In Carlisle’s vehicle was James R. Carlisle II, a 58-year-old from Murrysville. A 29-year-old woman from Connellsville named Brandy N. McMillen was riding shotgun in the car driven by Rose. Thankfully, the little girl riding shotgun in Rose’s car escaped the accident unharmed. An investigation into the tragic event is presently underway by the state police.
