4 Dead After Multi-Vehicle Collision In Central Virginia : Four people have tragically lost their lives following a multi-vehicle crash in Buckingham County, Virginia. According to the Virginia State Police, the incident occurred at approximately 11:40 a.m. on Tuesday on Route 15. The crash took place near the intersection with Route 781. Investigators revealed that a Ford Fusion, driven by 77-year-old Erika Henshaw from Dillwyn, was traveling south on Route 15 when it crossed the center line into the northbound lane.
The Fusion first collided with a Ford T350 van traveling north. Despite this initial collision, the Fusion continued in the wrong direction and struck a Nissan Versa head-on. The impact of the crash caused the Nissan Versa to run off the road and overturn. Both occupants of the Versa, 66-year-old Runping Zett from Alton and 37-year-old Eric Truscott, were pronounced dead at the scene. Erika Henshaw, along with her passenger, 85-year-old Alvin Henshaw, also died at the scene of the crash.
