A tragic turn of events unfolded in North Philadelphia early Saturday morning
Police responded to a medical emergency call at a residence on the 1400 block of Willington Street.
Upon arrival, officers found 20-year-old Milan Jones, a Temple University student, unresponsive on the second floor.
She had sustained apparent blunt force trauma and was pronounced dead at the scene
Authorities believe the incident stemmed from domestic violence.
A 22-year-old man, Tymir Lackey, has been arrested and charged with murder in connection with Jones’ death.
