Country star Jason Aldean’s 2026 “Songs About Us” tour is coming to Hartford’s Meadows Music Theatre on Sept. 12 at 7:30 p.m.
It’s the latest major act to announced for the newly renamed amphitheatre’s 2026 summer season. There are three opening acts for the tour: Chase Matthew, the 29-year-old whose hits include “Love You Again”; Mackenzie Carpenter, a 27-year-old known for “I WIsh You Would”; and Dee Jay Silver of “Getaway Driver” fame.
Aldean has had over 30 hit songs in the past 15 years including “Dirt Road Anthem,” “Take a Little Ride” and “Try That in a Small Town.”
Aldean’s latest album, “Songs About Us” won’t be released until April 24. Several songs from it have already been released, including three that were issued in tandem with the tour announcement. An earlier single from the album, “How Far Does a Goodbye Go?” was released back in September 2025 and is still No. 4 on the country airplay charts this week and No. 37 on the general Billboard pop charts.
The 22-date “Songs About Us” tour begins in mid-July with shows in Maine, New Jersey and New York City but does not return to the East Coast for the Hartford show until two months later. The tour ends two weeks after the Connecticut show, with two dates in New Hampshire.
Pre-sale ticket deals for the Sept. 12 show start March 3, with tickets going on sale to the general public on March 6 through Live Nation at ticketmaster.com.
Another big country act was previously announced for a show at the Meadows this summer, Riley Green’s “As Cowboy As It Gets” tour on Aug. 14.
