A 17-year-old man and a man in his 20s were both in critical condition after an overnight double shooting in Hartford early Sunday morning.
Hartford Police Department officers were patrolling the Ann Street area and heard gunfire shortly before 2 a.m.
Officers located an unresponsive 17-year-old male gunshot victim at 181 Ann Street. The teenager was transported to an area hospital and was listed in extremely critical condition, according to the Hartford Police Department.
While police were on the scene, a second gunshot victim was brought to an area hospital in a private vehicle. The man was described by police as a man in his 20’s. He is listed in critical but stable condition, according to the Hartford Police Department.
The Hartford Police Major Crimes and Crime Scene Divisions are investigating.
