Snow and sleet are on the way, according to the National Weather Service.
A winter weather advisory is in effect for northern Connecticut from Friday, Feb. 20 at 7 a.m. through Saturday, Feb. 21 at 7 a.m., according to the National Weather Service.
Residents can expect “total snow and sleet accumulations of a coating to 3 inches and ice accumulations up to around two tenths of an inch,” according to the National Weather Service.
“Plan on slippery road conditions,” the National Weather Service went on to say. “The hazardous conditions could impact the Friday evening commute.”
