A man is recovering after being shot in Hartford on Saturday morning, police said.
On Saturday at approximately 10:27 a.m., Hartford police officers were dispatched to the area of 53 Imlay St. on a report of a shooting.
Upon arrival, officers said they located a man in his forties, who was alert and conscious at the scene.
He was transported to an area hospital for treatment, according to police.
Police say they believe that the shooting was a result of the man’s vehicle being stolen.
The Hartford Police Department said they are actively investigating the scene.
