‘PILLION’

What it’s about: A young man finds himself in the thrall of a mysterious biker as they enter into a dominant/submissive relationship.

The kid attractor factor: This is a very mature and sexually explicit drama — not for kids and not much appeal for them.

Good lessons/bad lessons: Lessons in self-exploration can be emotionally risky but ultimately opportunities for growth.

Violence: None

Language: Some swearing.

Sex: Graphic sex scenes including male nudity.

Drugs: None

Parents’ advisory: Too sexually explicit for younger audiences. For adults only.

‘DRACULA’

Rated R for violence, some gore and sexuality.

What it’s about: The classic Dracula tale reimagined by Luc Besson.

The kid attractor factor: Not much appeal for kids. There is a certain swashbuckling adventure aspect to it, but this is more for adult audiences.

Good lessons/bad lessons: Love never dies.

Violence: Some bloody violence — battles, sword fighting, vampire biting, etc.

Language: None

Sex: Some sex scenes and sexual themes.

Drugs: None

Parents’ advisory: A bit advanced for kids — OK for teens.
