A woman was shot in New Haven in the early morning hours Tuesday.
Officers responded to the 300 block of Howard Avenue at 1:09 a.m. on the report of a shooting and found a gunshot victim, according to the New Haven Police Department.
The 32-year-old New Haven woman suffered injuries that were not considered life-threatening, police said. Her condition was not immediately clear.
The shooting remains under investigation.
Police have not released further information.
