A man is in critical condition after suffering a gunshot wound early Sunday morning in Hartford.
The Hartford Police Department responded to the 300 block of Franklin Avenue shortly after 2:30 a.m. following reports of multiple shots fired.
Police found the man, who was described by police as in his 30s, suffering from a gunshot wound and was transported to an area hospital and was listed in critical condition, according to a statement and the Hartford Police Department’s post on social media. He was not identified by police.
The incident is under investigation by the Hartford Police Major Crimes Division and Crime Scene Division. Anyone with information about the incident are urged to call the Hartford Police Department tip line at 860-722-TIPS (8477).
