A well-known television personality who is often celebrated for her hospitality style is opening a new restaurant in Connecticut.

Martha Stewart, yes, she knows the state well as a former longtime resident of Westport, Connecticut, is opening a new restaurant in March at Foxwoods Resort Casino; it’s dubbed “The Bedford by Martha Stewart.”

According to Foxwoods, it’s Martha Stewart’s second restaurant and her first on the East Coast. The other is in Las Vegas.

Further, though she lived at a now very well-known homestead in Connecticut for decades, this new restaurant is said to be inspired by her “iconic 1925 home in Bedford, New York, according to Foxwoods.

It will have a menu of Martha’s “personal favorites, including her Kurobuta Pork Chop, Niçoise Salad, and her Big Martha Pierogies,” but also signature cocktails such as the “Martha-tini and frozen pomegranate Martha-rita,” which are to “crafted with locally sourced ingredients,” according to Foxwoods.

The new restaurant is scheduled to open to the public on March 14 in the Grand Pequot Tower, according to Foxwoods.

The casino notes that the Grand Pequot Lobby was “transformed” recently by the Christmas by Martha Stewart holiday décor installation.

The collaboration brought “Martha’s vision to life and delighted guests throughout the holiday season, setting the stage for this next exciting chapter at Foxwoods,” according to the casino.

The new restaurant is to be open seven days a week with breakfast and dinner and lunch served every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Reservations are now open exclusively for dinner service at foxwoods.com/thebedford, according to Foxwoods.

Foxwoods Resort Casino, owned and operated by the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation, said is has more than 1,900 hotel rooms. It also over has shopping at Tanger Outlets, and, in addition to its gaming, features live performances.

The casino said it is expanding its offerings and “curated experiences for guests” in a new brand campaign, “This Is How We Resort.”

Also, Stewart founded Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, has written 101 lifestyle books, and was an Emmy Award-winning television show host. She has been dubbed a “go-to” authority on “living and Celebrating your best life.”
