United Airlines has announced a new nonstop flight from Bradley International Airport to Houston, Texas.
The flight will fly into the George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH.) It will begin on Thursday, May 21 and fly daily with a Boeing 737-800 aircraft, according to a statement.
“We are thrilled that United is expanding its footprint at Bradley International Airport and offering our passengers another nonstop destination,” said Michael W. Shea, executive director and CEO of the Connecticut Airport Authority, in a statement.
“This flight will offer greater convenience to those traveling to the Houston area and allow passengers to connect to other destinations within United’s global network.”
“As travelers start mapping out their summer plans, we’re excited to bring nonstop service between Houston and Hartford,” said Mark Weithofer, United’s managing director of domestic network planning, in a statement. “This route is an exciting addition to United’s route network and provides our customers with greater access to not only the two cities, but to destinations around the world with one-stop connections through Houston.”
In addition to the new route, United also flies direct from BDL to Chicago, Denver and Washington, DC.
