The Trump Store in Vernon, which sells flags, hats and a wide array of merchandise promoting President Donald Trump, is closing its doors Jan. 19, the store announced.
The store opened in the summer of 2024, before the divisive president’s second election, delighting fans with offering plenty of stickers, clothing, signs and other items to proclaim their devotion. The store occasionally hosted rallies, car parades, flag wavings, Republican candidates and opportunities for supporters to gather.
The storefront was reportedly vandalized in October 2024 when the building was spraypainted with the word “fascists” multiple times.

A sister stores in Easton, Mass. appears to be open while one in Salem, New Hampshire closed due to lack of business, as did one in Milford. The New England for Trump brand once had seven stores. It’s unclear if others remain open.
Before its closing, the Vernon store will hold a customer appreciation rally on Saturday from noon to 3 p.m. with refreshments and flags provided, according to the post on Facebook. The post advises attendees to dress warmly.
“We love and thank you all,” it says.
Remaining merchandise is being offered with most items 50% off.
The store is at 154 Talcottville Road, Vernon. Hours are not posted.
