A 5,512-square-foot industrial building on 4.37 acres has sold for $1,400,000, according to O,R&L Commercial.
The company said Luke Massirio of O,R&L Commercial represented the seller, John Keegan of Engineered Construction LLC.
The buyer, Superior Equipment and Supplies of Southington, was procured by Mark Berkowicz, also of O,R&L Commercial, according to the company.The site is at 1198 West Street in Southington.

“The property generated strong interest immediately upon listing and went under contract shortly thereafter following multiple competitive offers,” according to O,R&L Commercial.
“A key driver of value was the site’s ample outside storage capacity, a highly sought-after feature in today’s market where demand significantly outweighs supply,” according to O,R&L Commercial.
“The sale aligned well with both parties’ objectives: the seller was preparing for retirement, while Superior will utilize the property for its ongoing business operations,” according to O,R&L Commercial.
O,R&L Commercial, LLC has its offices in Branford and Rocky Hill and represents landlords, tenants, sellers and buyers in the office, retail, medical, multi-family, investment and industrial markets.
O,R&L Commercial also was recently involved when a large manufacturing facility in Connecticut was sold.
According to O,R&L Commercial, the property at 1 Hillside Drive in Wolcott has sold for $3.5 million. It was purchased by JFLG LLC, which bought the property for its manufacturing company.
That 35-acre parcel, includes more than 33,000 square feet with a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, fully air conditioned with high ceilings and 5,500 square feet of room ideal for precision manufacturing, biotech or medical device production, according to the company.
