Hundreds of Hartford residents woke up without power on Sunday morning.
As of 10 a.m., 475 Eversource customers in Hartford had no power.
“The Hartford outage is due to an underground equipment issue that crews are working to identify and resolve,” an Eversource spokesperson said Sunday morning.
The outages are in the South End of the city between Wethersfield and Franklin avenues. Eversource said the current estimated time of restoration is 3:30 p.m.
Also on Sunday, approximately 100 people were without power in Glastonbury between 6 a.m. and 8 a.m.
“The Glastonbury outage began a little after 6 a.m. and was due to a tree that came down on electric lines causing approximately 100 people to lose power. Our crews made the necessary repairs and restored power to the affected customers by 8 a.m.,” the Eversource spokesperson said.
