A 15-car pileup snarled traffic during Friday evening’s snowstorm in Waterbury, fire officials said.
Police officers and firefighters responded to the area of Wall Street and Crosby Street for a report of multiple crashes around 7:32 p.m., according to the Waterbury Fire Department.
Two people were transported to the hospital, fire officials said. No serious injuries were reported.
According to fire officials, heavy snow and slick conditions made for dangerous road conditions.
