Sixteen people were displaced following a fire at a multi-family home in Bridgeport on Friday.
Crews responded to a report of the fire in the 1400 block of Pembroke Street around 10 a.m., according to the Bridgeport Fire Department.
Firefighters found heavy fire in the back of the residence and worked to put out the flames.
No injuries were reported.
Fire officials said 11 adults and five children were displaced. They are being assisted by the American Red Cross.
The Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause of the fire.
