Mattel Children’s Foundation gives 100 toys to CT children

A hundred toys were given to Hartford area children from a partnership with Hartford HealthCare and the Mattel Children’s Foundation.

In all, “Mattel donated 1,000 toys to children and families across the Hartford HealthCare system and today 100 were given out to children at Hartford Hospital,” according to a statement.

The Mattel Children’s Foundation is a charitable arm of the toy manufacturing company Mattel, Inc.

This is the third time Hartford HealthCare has received donations from Mattel, according to a statement.

Children and parents at Hartford Hospital were able to pick out 2-3 toys of their choosing for the holidays. About 15 families were on hand to receive these toys. Some of the toys gifted included be puzzles, stuffed animals, toy tractors and cars, Barbies and more, according to a statement.
