A West Hartford man and woman have been identified as the suspect and victim in a Massachusetts double homicide-suicide in November.

Officers from the Springfield Police Department responded to a home on the 1400 block of State Street on Nov. 25 around 9:50 a.m. for a reported stabbing victim. After entering the residence, officers located two adult men and an adult woman who were all pronounced dead.

Hampden District Attorney Anthony D. Gulluni identified the two stabbing victims as Khamkieo Chingvacha, 67, of Springfield, Massachusetts, and Sachivanh Phomphanh, 47, of West Hartford.

The third individual, identified as Kung Kedjumnong, 43, of West Hartford, is believed to have fatally stabbed both Chingvacha and Phomphanh before taking his own life, according to Gulluni.

The incident remains under investigation by the Springfield Police Department’s Homicide Unit and the Hampden District Attorney’s Murder Unit.

Investigators have determined there is no ongoing threat to the public, Gulluni said.
