An investigation is underway following a house fire in Colchester on Thursday night.
The fire broke out at a home in the 100 block of North Pond Way where crews responded around 11:45 p.m. on the report of a structure fire, according to the Colchester Fire Department.
Firefighters battled the blaze for just over an hour before it was knocked down and overhaul efforts were underway, fire officials said.
According to fire officials, firefighters remained at the scene until shortly after 3 a.m.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
