UConn star wide receiver Skyler Bell received an invitation to participate in the Panini Senior Bowl on January 31, 2026 in Mobile, Alabama.

The Senior Bowl is a prestigious college all-star game that has been held in Mobile for over 76 years. It bills itself as the first step in the NFL Draft process. 106 Senior Bowl players were chosen in last year’s draft, according to a release, more than any other college all-star game.

Bell has been one of the most productive wide receivers in the country this season, ranking second nationally in yards (1,278), touchdowns (13) and catches (101). He is one of only three players to be named a Biletnikoff Award finalist— the award for the nation’s top wide receiver– joining USC’s Makai Lemon and Ohio State’s Jeremiah Smith.

Bell becomes the 19th Husky in program history to earn an invite to the Senior Bowl. He is just the second offensive skill player in program history to earn an invitation, and the first since 2005 when quarterback Dan Orlovsky was chosen. Earlier in the week, Bell also received an invite to the East-West Shrine Bowl, another prestigious all-star game.

This year’s game will kick-off at 2:30 pm ET on NFL Network from the University of South Alabama’s Hancock Whitney Stadium.
