Looking for last-minute Thanksgiving plans? Dreading the thought of having to cook up a massive meal for your friends and family?
Several restaurants in Connecticut are offering alternatives to cooking at home, whether you are a family looking to dine-in or hosting relatives and need a meal ready for pick-up.
We have gone ahead and highlighted five restaurants in the state still taking reservations and take-home orders for Thanksgiving. With the family-favorite holiday less than a week away, make sure to act fast! Otherwise, you may be serving up TV dinners for your party this year.
Market Grille in Manchester
Market Grille is taking orders for Thanksgiving dinner for pick up, according to their website, as well as offering an in-house Thanksgiving dinner that runs from 11:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Price is $59.95 for an adult 3-course dinner, with children under 12 at $24.95. Readers can call 860-644-1011 for reservations and find the full menu here.
For take-home, Thanksgiving meal kits are $299 and serve 4-6 people. They can also be expanded for additional people at $50 per person.
Orders must be placed by Tuesday, Nov. 26, according to the website. Pickup is Thanksgiving Day Thursday, Nov. 28.
Metro Bis in Simsbury
Metro Bis is offering a three-course meal for dine-in on Thanksgiving, according to their website, with choices like roasted turkey, braised short ribs, pan-seared salmon, and autumn risotto. Price per person is $70, not including tax and service. Children 10 and younger are $30.
Reservations are available between noon and 7:30 p.m. and can be made by calling 860-651-1908.

Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar in West Hartford
