When I tied blue and yellow ribbons on trees in my front yard three years ago, I never thought they would come to the point where they are now faded, and I am most likely the only one who can see them.
But they are not torn to shreds and neither is Ukraine; I would like to believe.
The choices of the “plan” given by Putin and the United States to end the war in Ukraine are like when Henry Ford said “you can have any color car you want as long as it is black”.
US senators slam Trump’s Russia-Ukraine peace plan as rewarding aggression
Whom am I to judge what Zelenskyy should do for his country. He has done so much and at a very heavy cost. His country takes two steps forward and then one step backwards.
But to be in a war for three or more years; the lives that have been lost; the destruction physically to Ukraine, I don’t know how you come to the decision offered by Putin because he is offering nothing to the Ukrainians.
For the United States to come to Zelenskyy and offer this proposal is shameful. All Trump wants is for the war to end because he thinks then he will win the Nobel Peace Prize. I don’t believe that will ever happen because from the way he constantly speaks, there is no peace in his heart.
I am sure that Zelenskyy has a very heavy heart for his country and I pray and hope that he has good council.
