When I don’t see U.S. Sen. Richard Blumenthal’s picture in the Courant for a week or so, I begin to think that he is not well.
But, invariably, he soon surfaces as he did in the Thursday November 13 edition posing for a picture with the new mayor of New Britain.

It would be interesting to learn how much we taxpayers are billed for his commuting costs between Washington and Connecticut.
I’m beginning to think he feels it’s more important to keep his face in the newspaper than it is to tell us what he really accomplishes in the Senate.
In closing, I think he would consider being at the opening of an envelope.
