Three people face charges in connection with an investigation into a rash of armed robberies in Torrington.

Police carried out a search and seizure warrant on Friday at a home on New Litchfield Street seeking evidence related to the robberies and arrested 45-year-old Emily Marshall, according to Sgt. Kyle Johnson of the Torrington Police Department.

Johnson said Marshall was charged with interfering with a search warrant. Brandon Pray, 45, was also in the home and was found to have a warrant out for his arrest for operating a vehicle with a suspended license, according to Johnson.

Both individuals were each held on a $50,000 bond.

Johnson said investigators allegedly found “numerous items” in the home that were tied to the string of robberies. Police then obtained a warrant charging Pray and 37-year-old Wayne Trivaudey in connection with an armed robbery at the Valero Gas Station at 154 South Main St. on Nov. 2., according to Johnson.

Trivaudey was spotted on Saturday in the area of Lewis Street and New Litchfield Street, Johnson said. He fled from officers and was taken into custody following an extensive track using a K-9 and a drone, which led to a brief foot pursuit, Johnson said.

Trivaudey and Pray each face charges of first-degree robbery, conspiracy to commit first-degree robbery, fourth-degree larceny, first-degree threatening, criminal use of a firearm and second-degree breach of peace.

Johnson said each suspect was held on a $250,000 bond in connection with the robbery warrants. Trivaudey was also held on an additional $50,000 after being charged with interfering with police and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Johnson said police anticipate filing additional charges in connection with robberies at the Gasway gas station at 454 N. Elm St. on Nov. 5 and the Shell Gas Station at 857 Main St. on Nov. 6.
