Two men were fatally wounded in a triple shooting overnight on the North Side in the Edgewater neighborhood, Chicago police said.
Officers responded about 1:20 a.m. Saturday to a call of a person shot in the 6300 block of North Broadway and when they arrived they discovered three men wounded, police said.
A 28-year-old man suffered multiple wounds to the body and was taken to St. Francis Hospital in Evanston, where he was pronounced dead. Another man, 31, suffered wounds to his chest and was taken to Weiss Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. A third victim, 36, was shot in the back and was taken to a hospital in Evanston and listed in fair condition, police said.
The victims were unable to tell police the circumstances leading up to the fatal attack. No one was in custody and detectives were investigating.
