Tragedy struck a Juneteenth celebration in Round Rock on Saturday night. A shooting erupted at around 10:50 pm, leaving two people dead and multiple others injured.
The suspects remain at large.

A fight erupted near the vendor area at the Round Rock Juneteenth Festival in Old Settler’s Park on Saturday night, escalating into a shooting around 10:50 pm.
At least one person opened fire, injuring multiple people and tragically killing two. The suspects fled the scene immediately, and Round Rock Police are investigating whether there were others involved in the shooting.
Round Rock Police Chief Allen Banks withheld the identities of those killed and injured pending notification of next of kin.
He also did not disclose the exact number of injured at this time. However, Chief Banks confirmed that the victims were innocent bystanders not involved in the initial altercation.
Thankfully, Round Rock police officers and firefighters present at the Juneteenth celebration responded swiftly to the shooting.
They provided immediate medical aid to the wounded, including applying tourniquets and performing CPR.

He acknowledged the conflicting descriptions of the suspect and the events leading up to the shooting, stating they would be thoroughly investigated.
