A Gloucester man said he has big plans for the $1 million jackpot he won playing the Massachusetts State Lottery.
Edward Fortado won the seven-figure payday by playing the $50 scratch-off game “Lifetime Millions.”
Fortado chose to take the lump sum payment of $650,000 (before taxes) rather than the annuity.
He said he would invest his winnings.
Fortado bought the ticket at 7-Eleven at 48 Maplewood Ave. in Gloucester. The store will get a $10,000 bonus for the sale.
