19-Year-Old Nick Rados Died in Arlington DUI Crash Identified. On Saturday, October 12, Nicholas “Nick” Rados, 19, of Arlington, Virginia, passed away in a DUI collision.
Around 1:58 in the morning, Nick Rados was a passenger in a car that included Brooks Bare, 18, of Arlington, and three other individuals. The crash occurred at a site on the 2200 block of N. Harrison Street.

When the Arlington County Police Department arrived on the site, they discovered that Rados, the passenger, had serious injuries. After being taken to a nearby hospital, he passed away there.
One of the other three passengers had minor injuries; after receiving treatment, he was released from the hospital. On-scene medics assessed the driver and the other two passengers.
Brooks Bare, the driver, was charged by the Arlington County Police Department with DUI/Involuntary Manslaughter and Breath/Blood Test Refusal. He is being held at the Arlington County Detention Facility without bond.
The preliminary investigation states that Bare overturned the car he was driving while driving north on N. Harrison Street after running into many parked, empty cars on the side of the road.
